Any attempt by Donald Trump to deploy soldiers to Chicago would be illegal, unconstitutional, and above all, unnecessary. After a great deal of hard work by community groups, violence interrupters, local law enforcement, and our partners in local, state and federal government, Chicago is experiencing a historic drop in violent crime.
